Voco Bondfix

Voco Bondfix is a one-component, light-curing, nano-reinforced self-etch adhesive designed to deliver reliable bonding performance with minimal technique sensitivity. It provides high bond strengths to both enamel and dentin while ensuring excellent patient comfort.

The advanced formulation of Bondfix eliminates the need for shaking or massaging and tolerates moisture effectively, helping to reduce the risk of postoperative sensitivity and simplifying the clinical workflow.

Direction to Use :

Drying :

• Ensure a dry working area before application
• Avoid contamination with blood or saliva

Preparation :

• Prepare the cavity following adhesive restorative principles
• Rinse thoroughly with water
• Remove excess moisture with a gentle air jet
• Do not overdry dentin; surface should remain slightly moist
• If no preparation is performed (e.g. cervical defects), clean the surface thoroughly
• Roughen enamel margins with a finishing diamond or etch with phosphoric acid gel if required
• Protect deep areas near the pulp with a calcium hydroxide-based liner

Application :

• Dispense one drop of Bondfix onto a mixing palette
• Apply a moderately thin layer to enamel and dentin using a suitable applicator
• Allow the adhesive to act for 20 seconds

Drying :

• Dry the adhesive layer with an air jet for at least 5 seconds

Polymerisation :

• Light-cure with blue light (halogen or LED) for 10 seconds
