Beautifil Flow is a versatile flowable restorative material developed in two distinct viscosities while maintaining identical aesthetics, physical properties, filler load, and particle size. Beautifil Flow F02 (Low Flow) is engineered to provide controlled, moderate flow while retaining its shape, making it especially suitable for cervical areas and minimally invasive restorations.

It delivers excellent aesthetics with natural translucency and a high surface polish, making it ideal for cosmetic touch-ups and surface modifications in aesthetically demanding cases. Incorporating Shofu’s Giomer technology with S-PRG fillers, Beautifil Flow F02 also provides fluoride release and recharge along with a unique anti-plaque effect.

Features

Excellent Aesthetics with High Polishability

Beautifil Flow harmonizes light transmission (as in enamel) and light diffusion (as in dentin) within the material to achieve an ideal shade match without influence from background colour, ensuring highly aesthetic restorations.

Fluoride Release and Recharge

Based on Giomer technology with stable S-PRG fillers, Beautifil Flow releases and recharges fluoride in response to the oral environment, similar to glass ionomers, without compromising material integrity.

Directions for Use

A. Anterior and Posterior Restorations

• Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the tooth surface to remove plaque.
• Shade selection: Select the appropriate shade while the tooth is still moist.
• Cavity preparation: Prepare the cavity following conventional methods.
• Isolation: Isolate with a rubber dam.
• Pulp protection: If the cavity is close to the pulp, cap with calcium hydroxide. Do not use eugenol-containing materials.
• Adhesive application: Apply dentin adhesive according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Needle tip setting: Remove the shield cap and attach the Beautifil needle tip securely by turning clockwise.
• Placement: Apply Beautifil Flow directly into the cavity or dispense onto a paper pad for placement with a suitable instrument.
• Light curing: Light-cure using a dental curing unit. For deep cavities, incremental curing not exceeding 2 mm is recommended.
• Finishing and polishing: Contour, finish, and polish following conventional techniques.

B. Base / Liner Application

• Follow steps A-1 to A-7 above.
• Base / liner placement: Apply Beautifil Flow directly into the cavity and light-cure (Halogen: 30 sec / LED: 10 sec).
• Placement: Fill with direct composite resin.
• Finishing and polishing: After curing, contour and polish following standard procedures.
