Riva Self Cure Conventional Glass Ionomer Restorative

Riva Self Cure is a radiopaque, self-curing conventional glass ionomer restorative material designed for a wide range of clinical applications. With excellent tooth adhesion, sustained fluoride release, and high compressive strength, it is available in two viscosities and is suitable for both restorative and base indications.

Developed for minimally invasive dentistry, Riva Self Cure is a bioactive material that helps prevent secondary caries while preserving natural tooth structure. Its dentin-like properties make it an ideal dentin replacement material with long-term clinical reliability.

Indications

• Non stress-bearing Class I and II restorations
• Restorations in deciduous teeth
• Geriatric restorations
• Intermediate restorative and base material for Class I and II cavities (sandwich technique)
• Cervical (Class V) restorations
• Core build-ups
• Temporary fillings
• ART (Atraumatic Restorative Treatment) technique
• Dentin replacement

Contraindications

• Pulp capping
• May cause skin irritation in some individuals; discontinue use and seek medical advice if irritation occurs
