Interproximal Enamel Reduction Kit (IPR Kit)

The Interproximal Enamel Reduction Kit is specially designed for precise and controlled interproximal reduction during orthodontic treatment. It supports procedures aimed at reducing mesio-distal tooth dimensions to manage mild to moderate crowding, Bolton tooth-size discrepancies, morphologic corrections, tooth reshaping, and gingival papilla management.

Interproximal Reduction (IPR), also known as slenderizing, stripping, selective enamel reduction, or reproximation, involves removing a minimal amount of outer enamel (approximately 0.3–0.5 mm) from interproximal tooth surfaces. This technique creates additional intra-arch space when extraction therapy is not desirable.

The blades are made of durable metal and can be sterilized under high temperature and pressure. They withstand temperatures up to 135°C and can be reused until the abrasive surface is worn out, after which they should be replaced.
