EiTi Cotton Gauze Balls is a piece of cotton that has been manipulated into an elliptical shape. The predominant application of gauze balls is to absorb blood and other body fluid secretions which may result from surgical procedures. In conjunction with this application, gauze balls can also be used to clean medical instruments, wound disinfection and cleaning the skin.

These are made of 100% pure cotton, Non-Sterile, absorbent and covered with the cotton gauze. Available in assorted pieces. Absorbs saliva, therefore creating isolated conditions helps to provide adequate pressure hygienically.

Gauze balls can be applied directly to the wound, as they are non-adhesive and suitable for direct contact.

• To apply the ball, ensure the wound is cleaned thoroughly to remove any debris or foreign bodies.
• Ensure the shape and size of the gauze ball is applicable to the size of the wound that is being treated.
• The gauze ball can be directly placed onto the wound, as it is not adhesive.
• The ball is simply held in place over the wound, allowing it to soak up all the discharge secreted by the wound.
• Once the ball is saturated, or the wound has stopped discharging fluid(s), the ball can be removed and disposed of.
• Take care not to touch the wound, as this may aggravate it.
• Changing the ball frequently is recommended.
• If the ball gets saturated or soiled, it should be replaced immediately with a fresh ball.
