Chloraxid 5.25% is a sodium hypochlorite solution intended for use during endodontic treatment as an irrigant for cleaning and disinfecting root canals. It effectively removes non-vital pulp tissue during mechanical canal preparation and ensures thorough canal debridement.

Description

CHLORAXID 5.25% is used during mechanical canal widening to remove remnants of dead pulp tissue. It cleans the canal thoroughly and eliminates the smear layer, exposing dentinal tubule orifices before final obturation.

Proper irrigation with Chloraxid 5.25% helps prevent tooth discoloration that may occur after filling inadequately rinsed root canals.

For enhanced safety and ease of identification, labelled syringes with color-coded markings are available. The Luer-lock system ensures secure needle attachment, reducing the risk of accidental spillage during application.

The innovative bottle with adapter allows direct aspiration of the solution into disposable syringes (Luer and Luer-lock types). This system minimizes chlorine evaporation and reduces exposure to chlorine vapors, which may irritate the respiratory system.
