Directions to Use

• Luxators are used in a cutting and rotating motion to gently widen the alveolus
• Major part of extraction can be performed without forceps
• Place the shank and blade parallel to the root surface
• Gently push the tip into the alveolar socket for controlled PDL severance

Blade Selection Guidelines

• Straight: Apical and interproximal areas
• Curved: General use or starter, ideal from the buccal side
• Contra Angle: Good access from lingual and/or distal side
• Inverted Curve: General, lingual and distal access
• Dual Edge: Useful for difficult, hidden roots and fractured tips with safer stepped insertion
